Auto Pros Automotive Repair Proudly Hosts Girls Garage Day: Empower. Explore. Get Your Hands Dirty!
At Auto Pros Automotive Repair, we’re more than just your trusted local auto shop—we’re a driving force for positive change in Lancaster and the Antelope Valley. That’s why we’re thrilled to host Girls Garage Day on April 4, 2026, an exciting fundraiser to support Auto Pros Academy’s mission of providing hands-on automotive education for local youth.
Why We’re Hosting Girls Garage Day
For over 41 years, Auto Pros Automotive Repair has been a family-owned business built on trust, expertise, and community commitment. Owner and Certified ASE Master Technician Rudy Gutierrez knows firsthand the value of skilled, confident technicians—and he’s passionate about opening doors for the next generation, especially young women who are underrepresented in the automotive industry.
Girls Garage Day is our way of giving back—offering a hands-on workshop where girls will work directly on a real instructional vehicle using professional automotive tools. This immersive experience helps build practical skills and confidence in a safe, supportive environment. All proceeds from this event directly benefit Auto Pros Academy, providing vital unrestricted funds to expand programs and reach more students.
What Girls Garage Day Offers
- Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026
- Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Lunch provided from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.)
- Location: Auto Pros Automotive Repair, 44136 10th St W #205, Lancaster, CA 99534
- Cost: $50 per participant (Lunch Included)
- Registration Deadline: April 2, 2026
- Limited to 20 spots!
During this special day, participants will:
- Learn Car Maintenance Basics and Auto Electronics from industry experts
- Use professional tools while working on a real instructional vehicle
- Build teamwork and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects
- Enjoy a provided lunch break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
- Receive a personalized certificate recognizing their achievement
